Old Age Home

North Eastern Centre for Education undertake various activities like advocacy, campaign for shelter and safe housing for the poor, resettlement and rehabilitation (R&R), construction of safe and low-cost housing, implementation of shelter for urban homeless (SUH) under National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NULM), etc. The activities undertaken by North Eastern Centre for Education contribute towards achieving Sustainable Development Goal- SDG 1- No poverty- End poverty in all its forms everywhere and SDG 11- Sustainable cities and communities- Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.

The Old Age Home / Senior Citizens Home at South salmara Mankachar district is under Social Welfare Department, Govt of Assam and approved by Department of Social Justice and empowerment, Under Ministry of Social Justice and empowerment, Govt. Of India, New Delhi.
