North Eastern Centre for Education conduct various activities like protection of national heritage, art and culture including restoration of works of art, setting up public libraries, promotion and development of traditional arts and handicrafts, art forms like dancing, painting, folk culture, upgrading the skills and training in traditional arts/crafts for development, create appropriately equipped training, rehearsal and performance spaces for artistes, preserve rich heritage of minority communities of India under the overall concept of Indian culture, etc.
